In chapters 11-22 of Revelation, John’s visions prepare us for the culmination of history in the defeat of Satan, Armageddon, the last judgment, and the new heaven and new earth. It’s one “Wow and Hallelujah!” after another! Presented by Dr. Dean Nadasdy, President Emeritus, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod - Minnesota South District.
What a hope! And it’s revealed in the book of Revelation! Pastor Reed will provide an overview, offer an in-depth study of the seven churches, then take us into the throne room vision in chapters 4 and 5. Pastor Dean will continue the study starting in November, leading us into Revelation 6–22. Presenter — Dr. Reed Lessing, Professor of Theology and Ministry, Concordia University, St. Paul, MN.
Stories for Witness
Presented by Dr. Dean Nadasdy
December 1 – February 9 (No classes on December 22 & 29)
Participants will discover the witness value of stories. They will review the great sacred story arcing over every disciple’s life and find themselves in the stories Jesus tells in the gospels. They will also consider their own stories for witness. The point of witness is just where the Christ story, the story of another, and my own story intersect. To emphasize the visual nature of Jesus’ stories, art will be used extensively. View and Download Lectures here:

What a story! Shiphrah and Puah, Moses and Miriam, Aaron and Jethro—and don’t forget the Red Sea and a mountain called Sinai! This story, fulfilled and completed in Jesus Christ, is your story as well. In nine sessions, participants will review it and learn again how to sing it. View and Download Lectures here:
The societal challenges and mission opportunities that the New Testament church was born into mirror, in many ways, the kind of challenges and opportunities that face Christians and Christian congregations today. In this class taught by Dr. William Utech & Dr. Phil Johnson we will learn from those first Christians, their leaders, and from Christ Himself how it is that we have been saved and sanctified to be His church today for the sake of this world He loves so much. Dr. Dean Nadasdy looks at ethical issues from the Godward side. How do divine commands shape our ethical decision-making? What divine virtues are we designed to reflect? How does God motivate our morality as Christian disciples? The class will look at the crucial functions of justice, love, humility, vocation, and freedom in the life and witness of the Christian. Discipleship and Missiology of the Old Testament taught by Dr. Reed Lessing: Can Israel’s scriptures really help us grow as disciples of Jesus who make disciples of all nations? Indeed! In this class we will meet world-class missionaries—people like Abraham, Solomon, Isaiah, and Zechariah. Even Jonah will teach us a thing or three! View and download lectures.
