    Stories for Witness

    Presented by  Dr. Dean Nadasdy

    December 1 – February 9 (No classes on December 22 & 29)

Participants will discover the witness value of stories. They will review the great sacred story arcing over every disciple’s life and find themselves in the stories Jesus tells in the gospels. They will also consider their own stories for witness. The point of witness is just where the Christ story, the story of another, and my own story intersect. To emphasize the visual nature of  Jesus’ stories, art will be used extensively. View and Download Lectures here:

  • Archive - Spring 2022: Discipleship and Missions in the New Testament

The societal challenges and mission opportunities that the New Testament church was born into mirror, in many ways, the kind of challenges and opportunities that face Christians and Christian congregations today. In this class taught by Dr. William Utech & Dr. Phil Johnson  we will learn from those first Christians, their leaders, and from Christ Himself how it is that we have been saved and sanctified to be His church today for the sake of this world He loves so much. View and download lectures.

  • Archive - Winter 2022: The Good Life in Christ – Ethics for the Christian Disciple

How does God motivate our morality as Christian disciples? The class will look at the crucial functions of justice, love, humility, vocation, and freedom in the life and witness of the Christian.  View and download lectures.

  • Archive - Fall 2021: Discipleship and Missions in the Old Testament
